CREATED TO BE CREATIVE! I am not referring to us, the team at Dreambox Creative, I am referring to you! Yes, YOU! I often hear people say things like: "Oh, you guys are so creative." Yes, we are, but so are you. You need to get more and more comfortable with the practice of creativity; it is necessary in order to solve problems in business and in life. Creativity is the search for solutions. Unless everything you do is based on a recipe someone else scripted for you, you are being creative daily, and you may not even know it. Every time you get dressed and put together the pieces that make up your outfit you are being creative..(unless mom still prepares the clothes for you the night before). Every time you fix a meal and deviate from the recipe or from the way you "always did it" you are being creative. In fact, every time something takes place because of your intervention, every time something begins to exist because of your thoughts, words, and actions you are being creative. Entrepreneurs create opportunity, tools, products, and income systems. They don't always come up with a new idea; they bring the new idea to life and act on it. Not all creativity is art; but every human is pre-programmed with the ability to create. It's a standard feature. Yet most people do not lack ideas, they lack initiative and courage to act on their ideas. Action brings your creativity to life, to the rest of the world. And when that happens, you receive feedback. Positive feedback offers validation. Negative feedback offers the opportunity to improve. Value both, you need them! Develop a habit of coming up with ideas, sharing them with the people who support you, and acting on them! My friend, Kevin Bracy is a perfect example of creativity. Almost every time I communicate with him he is acting on a new idea! Everything he's done was at one time but a thought. He took that thought and acted on it!
