Mack McGhee, is a man who has taken the pain he experienced early in life, and turned it into passion, into a cause. At the age of 19 Mack became the victim of violence while at a New Year’s Eve Party. He took three blows to the head and face with the clawed side of a hammer, requiring him to receive 36 stitches in his face and head. This incident was a turning point for Mack. Determined to make something out of his life, he worked diligently to climb off of academic probation and transferred to Governors State University, where he successfully completed a BA Degree in Criminal Justice. He continued on to complete a MA in Political and Justice Studies by the age of 24. 

In the last 14 years Mack has worked in various capacities, dedicated to the goal of empowering, encouraging and motivating youth and individuals to succeed no matter what their circumstance. Mack has spoken to and inspired thousands of youth and adults while working in the field. His goal is simply to help others discover their purpose through inspiration.

A recognized expert on youth, he is a consultant and has worked with local universities on numerous researched-based projects. He is the CEO of Transforming Lives International, a company he launched in 2006 dedicated to the task of helping others improve their quality of life through motivation and inspiration. Mack has been featured on Fox News, Blacknews.com, Chicago Citizen Newspaper, Daily Southtown Newspaper, Rolling Out Magazine, IB Royalty Magazine, Shaping Young Minds TV Show, The Soul of San Diego Radio Show, The Tracey Winbush Radio Show, The Louie Jones Radio Show, Talking Success with Ranoule Tatum, Focus Talk with Dennis Snipe, The Jesse Lee Peterson Show, and many more. He is also one of the Original MonSTARS of Motivation.

Staying true to his passion, several months ago, Mack has approached me in regards to an event he was envisioning. He called it “A Night Of Inspiration”. A Night of Inspiration— Hope Healing & Peace was conceived as a way to motivate and inspire communities towards action and social change.  We welcomed the opportunity to be a part of it, and thanks to Mack’s initiative and passion, “A Night of Inspiration” became a brand project. We created the event logo, event website, promotional flyers, event tickets and event screen splash. On July 12, 2008 “A Night Of Inspiration” became a reality. Take a peek at the results.




A Night of Inspiration was patterned after Kevin’s Bracy Monstars of Motivation. Kevin’s cause is to develop a platform for positive messages to be delivered by the new generation of motivational superstars.  Kevin Bracy’s 4th MonSTARS of Motivation is back in Sacramento, due to inspire audiences with up thoughts in down times on September 19^th, this fall. Following suit, Dennard and Quentin, of Men of Visions Worldwide, are preparing a similar event in Florida, and are thrilled they asked our team at Dreambox Creative to help them as well. The name of the event is “As Successful as You Want To Be”, and that is all I can share right now. Be looking for that brand to come to life as well, within the next couple of months.
