Bit of News :: One of our logos designs will be featured in the upcoming book LOGO LOUNGE 5. Over 33,000 logos from around the world were entered for consideration in the new book, scheduled to be in bookstores Spring 2009. An international panel of judges selected only a few to be included in the book.

STAY CONNECTED.
One of the most flattering remarks I’ve gotten recently is when people who receive the “Look Inside” e-newsletter and the “DreamSeeds” say they enjoy hearing from us and look forward to the next issue. Overall, I think we all receive more emails than we ask for, and I think a lot of us mercilessly apply the shift-select-delete to most of them. Hearing that you expect and enjoy them is definitely encouraging. At recent speaker’s workshops we received wonderful feedback regarding this type of communication. We hope to continue to be relevant, to inspire you, and to grow in knowing each other. Thank you!
It’s been only about 3 weeks since the last School of Motivation, which also featured the 4th “MonSTARS of Motivation” Show. The show was a huge success, and all who attended (or participated) received a good dose of motivation. Since I received quite a few requests to view photos from the event I posted them on Flickr. By the way, the next “MonSTARS of Motivation” event is scheduled for March 2009.
Created with a similar goal, but for a different audience, Dennard Mitchell and Quentin Whitehead are preparing their first regional event: “As Successful As You Want To Be”, targeting youth and college students. Take a look at some of the materials we helped them develop. http://www.assuccessfulasyouwanttobe.com/
Imagine if every city in the United States would periodically feature such events-events which inspire our youth to believe in themselves enough to start pursuing their dreams and living their lives with passion. The impact would go far beyond our expectations . . . Hmmm! Perhaps you need to prepare one in your hometown?
If you are a speaker, check out the “Speakers and Branding” Group Discussion on LinkedIn. Sign up (if you do not have an account) and go to groups/topics. The topic of the current discussion is “When was the first time when you realized you have a gift for speaking?” Share your “first time” with us. We hope that will help others identify their passion and decide to start using their gift.
